Braided Cable Sleeving - Flexible Braiding - Wiring Harness Loom Protection. Flexible Braided Sleeving - A Versatile Cable Bundling and Protection Solution.

Ideal for use in electronic, automotive, marine and industrial wire harnessing and management situations. The braided construction allows expandability up to 150% or more for quick and easy installation over large connectors and long installation runs. Braided from PolyEthylene Terepthalate (PET) monofilament yarns.

Resistant to chemical degradation, UV damage and abrasion. Suitable for outdoor use in engine bays and on open chassis - open construction of the weave allows for any looms to dry out when they get wet - our braid will not trap moisture and rot looms like conventional PVC tape can.

Can be cut with scissors - to prevent fraying use heat shrink over the ends or use a soldering iron to melt the nylon slightly and bind the filaments together. Please be sure to allow enough length when measuring your requirements - if using over cable bundles larger than the nominal diameter the sleeving will shorten/shrink. Available in Black and Grey. Supplied by the metre and on 100m reels - orders over 25m will be sent on a reel.
